As I was walking through the streets of Downtown Southern Pines and noticing the Christmas decorations, I also popped into a few stores to find some new winter items that I would love to see in my stocking.
First stop was Denkers Dry Goods & Sundry, where I found myself wishing I had these texting gloves a lot sooner- especially at some of the colder evening football and soccer games.
After browsing a little more, my friend Emma Fergusen, who happens to be a Denkers employee, showed me some of the new Vera Bradley things, like this nail kit and head band that had just arrived.
After walking down a little further on Broad Street, I stopped into the Southern Pines Paper Company where I noticed some gifts that would be great for the younger kids on my Christmas list this year. I found a wide selection of patterned Solmate socks and some fun colored slap watches.
Then, I crossed the railroad tracks and headed over to the Traveling Chic Boutique. There, I found the “Mini-mergency” kit that contains 16 essential beauty-emergency items. I also stumbled upon a variety of “Haute Halos” – hair ties that look great whether they are on your wrist or in your hair and, on top of that, they won’t leave a crease! This year, I don’t think I’ll need a trip to the mall. Happy shopping in downtown Southern Pines!
By the way….If you shop at the Traveling Chic Boutique this Saturday, from 2-7pm, 15% of the sales will help send kids to Young Life Camp! Here are the details:
