Yep, the name "Wedgies" is a perfect fit considerting the Sandhills' famous pastime.  Not only are the sandwiches and pizzas made from wedges of pita bread, but all of the menu items have clever names too.

Wedgies is conveniently attached to the Exxon gas station next to Dairy Queen and behind the Pinecrest Plaza in Southern Pines.

On a frigid Tuesday evening Anna and I decided we needed a little Southern Comfort, so we headed for the Magnolia Inn Pub for the best tomato bisque and grilled cheese you’ll ever taste (a.k.a. the Southern Comfort). It all just hit the spot - the cozy pub, catching up with our friend and one of Magnolia’s finest Ann Marie, and of course the meal itself.
